 Greek mythological gods and goddesses

  • Zeus:

    The deity of the sky, thunder, lightning, law, order, and justice, as well as the monarch of the gods. He had the ability to throw lightning bolts, manipulate the weather, shape-shift, and witness everything that occurred in the world.

  • Hera:
  • The goddess of marriage, women, childbirth, and family and the queen of the gods. She had the power to bless or curse marriages, incite hatred and vengeance, and influence the fate of women.

Poseidon:
 is the Greek deity of the sea, earthquakes, thunderstorms, horses, and rivers. He had the ability to generate waves, storms, earthquakes, floods, and droughts, as well as manipulate water and sea creatures and make horses.

Hades :
is the deity of the underworld, the dead, wealth, and secrets. He had the ability to rule over the souls of the dead, to become invisible, to cause death and decay, and to create.

  • Athena:
  •  is the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, strategy, craftsmanship, and justice. She had the ability to inspire wisdom, courage, talent, and creativity, produce useful things, defend cities and civilisation, and assure fair verdicts.

  • Apollo:
  •  is the sun, light, music, poetry, prophecy, healing, and archery's deity. He could ride the sun chariot across the sky, play beautiful music on his lyre, divine the future at his oracle in Delphi, heal ailments and wounds, and hurl plague or death arrows.
  • Artemis
  •  is the moon goddess, as well as the goddess of hunting, wild animals, virginity, and childbirth. She could ride the moon chariot across the sky, hunt with her bow and arrows, preserve wild creatures and environment, protect women and girls' chastity, and help women in childbirth.


  • Aphrodite:
  • is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and reproduction. She had the power to make anyone fall in love with her or with someone else, to increase beauty and charm, to inspire desire and delight, and to promote fertility and conception.

  • Ares :
  • is the god of war, violence, bloodshed, and valor. He had the ability to create conflict, strife, fury, and dread, to inspire warriors and troops, to cause injuries and death, and to protect his allies in combat.

  • Hephaestus:
  • is the Greek deity of fire, metals, craftsmanship, and volcanoes. He could make incredible weapons, armor, jewels, and machinery, as well as manipulate fire and volcanoes, forge anything out of metal or stone, and restore shattered items.

  • Hermes :
  • is the god of travel, commerce, communication, as well as thieves and tricksters. With his winged sandals, he could fly, convey messages from the gods, direct souls to the underworld, invent languages and writing, take anything without being detected, and play jokes on anyone.
  • Dionysus :
  • was the Greek god of wine, fertility, theater, and ecstasy. He could manufacture wine out of grapes or water, grow plants, inspire drama and comedy, instill drunkenness and craziness, and free people from their inhibitions.
